Set in an amphitheatre of ebony and sausage trees on the southern tip of Chief’s Island, Stanley’s Camp borders the southern section of the Moremi Game Reserve. This private concession is located by definition in seasonal delta. The floodwaters arrive around June, though there is often navigable water all year round due to the presence of the Boro River.
The area is home to a wide variety of big game including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog.
Stanley’s consists of 8 classic styled safari tents raised on wooden decking. The decks are complemented with hammocks and Morris chairs.
Each unit offers en-suite facilities, a private balcony and is equipped with a hairdryer, ceiling fan, and in-room safe.

Kwara camp is situated north of and adjacent to the world renowned Moremi Game Reserve. Kwara is in the centre of the vast Kwara concession - which fronts onto the permanent water of the stunning Okavango Delta and is backed by extensive bush.
The teak furniture created for us by Zimbabwean master craftsmen is elegant, comfortable and simple. Most of the tents are raised on teak decks to afford views over the surrounding plains and lagoon with the resident hippo’s. Kwara like our other camps has a small splash pool and a gift shop. The camp consists of 8 Meru tents accommodating 16 guests. The camp setting, in a tall treed island, on the edge of the Okavango Delta completes the picture of this special camp. Facing west across a lagoon, the eight tents enjoy spectacular sunsets. Equipped in the inimitable fashion, they feature twin beds with private facilities, solar power and gas heated hot water all day. You will find a warm welcome after each special day. Around a campfire at night, camaraderie prevails as bushlore anecdotes are recounted. A gracious meal is prepared and noble wines uncorked.

The camp is situated on the northwestern tip of Chief’s Island, in what is termed seasonal delta. The area is therefore seasonally inundated with floodwaters. Generally, the floodwaters infiltrate the area in June / July and remain for a period of 4 to 5 months.
The camp, constructed on a green-field site, comprises of 12 luxury tents (24 beds), which are secluded, permanent luxury bush pavilions. Each unit offers en-suite bathrooms and private game viewing decks and is equipped with a hairdryer, ceiling fan, in-room safe and emergency intercom.

The concession adjoins the Makgadikgadi National Park with its endless vistas of rolling golden grasslands. Desert palms line the horizon . . . . .
