Zanzibar... an ideal hideaway for everyone searching for piece and tranquility in a tropical, East-African, artistically and culturally stimulating environment...
The Casa del Mar Jambiani
Our Rooms
Our 12 rooms are located in two buildings. All rooms have sea view and are tastefully decorated and equipped with East African art and furniture built from eco-friendly local materials.
The six rooms on the ground floor have bathrooms and a private balcony. The six second floor suites are all double-storey with a spacious living room, bathroom and balcony on the first level, and with a king-size futon bed with mosquito net under the thatched roof. For families, additional beds can be placed on the first level. All rooms have ceiling fans.
Casa del Mar has its own emergency generator, as electricity blackouts are not unusual in Zanzibar. Furthermore, we have invested in a 60,000 liters underground freshwater tank with three powerful water pumps, providing the rooms with hot and cold water.

TanzaniaThe camp is located at Ikoma, right at the boundary of the Serengeti National Park. The small camp with 4 luxury walk-in tents provides an intimate atmosphere for only 8 people, with excellent service of our friendly staff.
Here you can find probably one of the best game drives in the area, being close to the Grumeti River, where the migration passes during June and July, spectacular scenes with giant crocodiles catching the crossing wildebeest.
Its central location makes all parts of the Serengeti accessible in between short time. And due to its location just outside the park, walking Safaris and night game drives are other highlights are possible to organise.
The traditional tented camp safari is by far the best choice to explore the wildlife on a Safari in Africa. There is nothing to compare with being in a luxurous camp in a beautiful setting with the sights and sounds of nature closeby.

ZanzibarThe Kipepeo Lodge is a charming and warm resort, recently built on the Southeast coast of Zanzibar, close to a typical african village, Jambiani. It rises on the beach in front of the Indian Ocean and was created with love and fantasy. It is now ready to receive dreamers and travelers who look for an exclusive solution to spend some time in paradise. It has only five double rooms, each one with a view to the ocean.
The Kipepeo Lodge is the perfect place where to find total relaxation and real interior peace. But, above all, it represents a different life style far from the crowds, close to real people and nature.
In a word: intimate, even for one night only.

Tarangire National Park, Northern Safari circuit, Tanzania
Kusini is located in the South Central area of the Serengeti National Park. The park itself covers more than 14,763 sq. km's, making it one of the world's largest wildlife sanctuaries. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai language meaning, 'endless plains'.
The park, and the area around Kusini in particular, is noted for its lion and cheetah populations and excellent leopard sightings. Sites such as the nearby Moru Kopjes are also renowned for good resident game, particularly cats, all year round. The woodland area fringing the short grass plains, where Kusini is located, also has high sightings of resident game including rarer species such as klipspringer in addition to some incredible bird-life.

Klein's is located in one of the most strategically positioned wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The camp is situated in a 10 000 hectare private sanctuary leased from the local Maasai community. Our safari operation shares the sanctuary with the local Maasai pastoralists who traditionally graze their herds alongside the wildlife. The camp is bordered to the north by Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve and to the west by the Serengeti National Park, into which we venture on thrilling game drives. CCAfrica is taking an active role in involving the neighbouring Maasai people in ecotourism initiatives through participation in community projects, employment opportunities and sustainable resource use.
Klein's Camp is set on the edge of the Kuka Hills and commands breathtaking views of the valley through which pass migratory herds of wildebeest and zebra.
The majestic elephant rules this landscape, moving in numbers unequalled anywhere else in the Serengeti. The Klein's concession accommodates a maximum of 20 camp residents, in every sense the ultimate private Tanzanian safari and your own, personal piece of Africa.

Mwanza - Tanzania, Lake Victoria (Tanzania), Tanzania
In the untouched seclusion of a remote, idyllic valley in the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park, 50km east of Lake Victoria, lies the tented Grumeti River Camp. Flanked by two hillsides, this blissful camp nestles beneath tall riverine trees on the banks of an oxbow tributary of the Grumeti River. It is one of the wildest and most remote camps in Africa's greatest wildlife sanctuary, the Serengeti. Life under canvas enchanted early visitors.
Every year during the great migration, wildebeest, zebra and other herbivores plunge into the Grumeti River, risking the jaws of some of the largest crocodiles on earth. Crocodiles came under the spotlight here when filmmaker Alan Root used the camp as a base for filming the story of the crocodile, 'There are Dragons'. Another film, 'Serengeti Shall Not Die', is an inspired tribute to the national park.
