This privately owned and managed Guest Farm is secluded, offering peaceful Country Life in a special setting to ensure the discerning traveler the perfect Klein Karoo experience. With 55 hectares of mountains and plains, Ladismith Country House is a nature lover’s paradise offering wonderful bird life, a variety of fynbos, succulents and stargazing all year round.
The Manor House consists of four individually and tastefully decorated suites that provide the warmth and relaxation that only the Klein Karoo can satisfy. Each suite has it’s own entrance and private patio offering magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and plains.
Ladismith Country House offers a heartwarming breakfast in the perfect Karoo setting. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in our dining room or on the patio with the welcoming sounds of Guinea Fowl, Hadeda, Partridge and Pheasants.
Ladismith Country House also offer a self-catering cottage, called Paddasang. This cottage is situated away from the main house, next to the farm dam. The cottage is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, linen and towels. The lounge also offer air-conditioning for hot summer Karoo days.
Evenings are characterized by delightful candlelight dinners, using local and fresh produce, which are creatively prepared and beautifully served.
During the day enjoy scenic walks on the farm before heading out to the many Poorts and Passes in the area: Seweweekspoort & Bosluiskloof, Groenfontein-, Kruisriver-, Huisriver- & Garcia Mountain Passes or hike to Ladismith’s famous landmark, Towerkop Mountain.
Ladismith also have a nine-hole golf course.
Calitzdorp, the Port capital of South Africa, is a mere thirty minutes drive; Oudtshoorn with it’s famous Ostrich Farms and Cango Caves only an hour’s drive and George International Airport only two hours away.

Rooms are decorated with flair and African touch., they have very unusual and highly attractive ornamental fixtures and fittings.
The bathrooms have modern showers with high quality mixer-taps and removable shower heads and high water pressure.
Two rooms has also a bath.
